Tilta Cine Tripod Series CT08, CT12 & CT25 Introduced – First Look

[ad_1]

Tilta, best known for their camera cages and Nucleus Follow Focus systems, adds another item to their manufacturing list. Indeed, at NAB 2024, the Chinese company has just introduced the Cine Tripod series with two 75mm cine fluid head tripods (CT08 and CT12), while a third heavy-duty model (CT25) should come at a later date. So let’s take a quick first look at what they offer!Tilta’s new Cine Tripod series currently consists of two models, namely the CT08 and CT12. As their names suggest, they can withstand a maximum payload of 8kg/17.64lbs and 12kg/26.46lbs, respectively. The CT25 model will join them in the future to provide a camera support option for even heavier camera builds.Tilta Cine Tripod CT08 75mm fluid video head. Using the first configuration, the CT08 becomes more of a travel tripod, whose legs can be extended wide enough to brace your camera on rocky terrain. This makes it perfect for shooting landscape and/or timelapse photography, for example.Counterbalance adjustment on Tilta CT12. The legs are more robust and offer a middle connector brace that can be used for sandbags to weigh the whole tripod down. The CT12 head features 8 adjustment levels of drag for pan/tilt as well as 10 stops of counterbalance.Tilta Cine Tripod CT25.
